- I actually think this story illustrates the value of a degree "the ability to
- stick with something", an important job skill. When working it isn't possible
- to cherry pick what tasks you will and won't do. So a degree shows that for 3
- or 4 years you were able to stick with a program and deliver results. If you
- didn't like the class you should have either readjusted things so you did like
- it, or negotiate a different measure of success (switch course). Thats what we
- do in business all day..
